Specialist clinics at M.E.V.: which specialist to see, and when
Nineteen specialist clinics now run every week at our hospital in Wuse 2, Abuja. Here is how to find the right specialist and book a visit.
Seeing a specialist in Abuja should not mean weeks of phone calls or travelling between centres. At M.E.V. Specialist Hospital in Wuse 2, nineteen specialist clinics run under one roof, alongside our 24-hour general, laboratory and imaging services.
Our specialist clinics
Heart, brain and hormones. Our consultant cardiologist, neurologist and endocrinologist see patients every week, with internal medicine clinics on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Nephrology (kidney) and gastroenterology (stomach and liver) are available by appointment.
Women, children and nutrition. Gynaecology clinics run three times a week, paediatric clinics twice a week, and our dietitian holds clinics on Mondays and Wednesdays. Paediatric surgery is by appointment.
Skin, ENT and mobility. Dermatology, ear, nose and throat (ENT), orthopaedics and physiotherapy all hold weekly clinics, so you can be assessed and start treatment in the same place.
Surgery and urinary health. General surgery, urology and plastic surgery are available, with our own operating theatre on site.
Mental health and wellbeing. Psychiatry and psychology appointments are arranged privately, at a time that suits you.
